Technalign has announced it is releasing a low-cost system for those individuals and companies that still have older hardware. The product has been named Frontier ASPEN powered by MEPIS Linux. Frontier ASPEN is being released immediately and is in many partners hands nationwide. ASPEN is packaged in a CD jewel case and is delivered on a single CD.

Jul. 18, 2006 The Brazil-based Dreamlinux project team introduced Dreamlinux 2.0 on July 16. The install/live CD distribution is based on a 2.6.14 Kanotix Kernel and the XFce desktop, and comprises a combination of Debian, Knoppix, and Morphix code.
